The Competition Best of Scandinavian News Design is arranged by the Society for News Design Scandinavia in cooperation with Danske Dagblades Forening, Mediebedrifternes Landsforening, Tidningsutgivarna og Tidningarnas Förbund.

It is controlled by a committee of four people, all appointed by SNDS: President, 2 committee members and secretary (usually SNDSs executive secretary)

The Committee shall organize and conduct the work of the jury, but does not participate in the judging. The committee will decide in doubtful cases, in which categories the material submitted must be assessed.

Committee Chairman shall conduct the critical evaluation and selection of the year’s best design and AHA price.

BEST OF SHOW – this prize is awarded one of the pages, newspapers or newspapers, which have achieved gold. Have no topics obtained to get the gold, the prize will be given to the best silver winner.

AHA Prize is an award which is given for a good feature. It may be a layout detail as a graphic detail, or any other detail that makes jurors to say “Aha – it can also be done that way.” The price may also be a good idea.

There is only awarded one AHA price.
